About Christine Sanni

Christine Sanni serves as Sybal’s Chief Executive Officer leading the organization’s vision, culture, people development, and product innovation in alignment with customer-industry needs. She co-invented the internationally patent pending method and system, Proof of Governance®, with her husband and life partner, Ikhelowa (Ike) Sanni. As an award-winning technologist, inventor, and creator, Christine thrives in difficult and challenging areas that require improvement of efficacy, enhancement of experience, and out of the box innovation to deliver better results. Christine began her career as a technologist over a decade ago in Telecommunications where she advised and consulted regulated industries on advanced technology solutions. Over her professional career, Christine expanded her focus into Technology Distribution Channels, advising and consulting other Technology Consultants, MSPs, Entrepreneurs, and Technology Providers who sell into regulated markets. Beyond her love for technology, Christine is committed to leaving this world a better place by empowering others to thrive – to create the impact they are here to create. When she founded Sybal, it was and continues to be the outcomes and opportunities her team will create for others, that make her the most excited.

About Ikhelowa (Ike) Sanni

Ikhelowa (Ike) Sanni serves as Sybal’s Chief Strategy Officer leading the organization’s strategic planning, finance and cost management, global expansion and partnerships. Ikhelowa co-invented the internationally patent pending method and system, Proof of Governance®, with his wife and life partner, Christine Sanni. As an award-winning inventor, finance expert, and strategic operator, Ikhelowa excels at operational execution in regulated markets. As a former commodity trading advisor, Ikhelowa has deep experience operating business with oversight from regulating bodies such as the CFTC, NFA, and SEC. His understanding of regulatory compliance in operation gives him unique insights into the challenges regulated industries face when implementing strategic growth initiatives and digital transformation. As an avid learner, Ikhelowa is committed to leaving this world a better place by empowering others to grow and expand through education. He is excited for the impact Sybal will have on its people, their families, and communities as it builds out programs that make education more accessible.

About Richard Whitt

Richard Whitt serves as a strategic advisor and angel investor to Sybal. Richard’s career has spanned over three decades as a public policy attorney, technology strategist, business advisor, and entrepreneur. 

He spent over eleven years with Google (2007-‘18), most recently serving as corporate director for strategic initiatives. Previously Richard led public policy teams at MCI Communications (1994-2006) and worked as an associate at several large Washington DC-based technology law firms (1988-‘94). As founder of GLIA Foundation (2019-present), Richard launched the GLIAnet project, a new trust-based Web governance ecosystem. 

He also founded Deeper Edge LLC, a proof-of-concept digital fiduciary. Richard currently serves as senior fellow with the Georgetown Institute for Technology Law and Policy and was a senior fellow in residence with the Mozilla Foundation (2018-‘22). He resides in Emerald Hills, California.

About Xenia von Wedel

Xenia von Wedel is the President of Transform Group, the blockchain industry’s leading public relations firm. Xenia previously held senior executive roles with Terpin Communications and SocialRadius and has led global PR campaigns for technology companies for more than 20 years.

In her role at Transform, Xenia has overseen PR campaigns for many of the agency’s 100+ blockchain and fintech clients, including Kraken, Augur, Bancor, Gyft, Lisk, Payment Data Systems, Qtum, Rivetz, SALT Lending, SafeCash, ShapeShift, Syscoin, Swarm and WAX Token.

Xenia is fluent in German and French, and conversational in Spanish. She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Paris. Full disclosure: Xenia holds cryptocurrency.

Kim Lewin

About Kim Lewin

Kim has over 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors. During her time in the public sector, Kim worked for the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) in Washington, DC. Kim served as a law enforcement liaison for 314(a) investigations, managed the 314(b) program, and assisted financial institutions with complex inquiries related to regulatory and reporting requirements.

Kim also worked for various high profile financial institutions in the private sector such as US Bank, Western Union, and OppenheimerFunds. Kim held various first line and second line of defense roles that combated money laundering and mitigated risk.

Product Development

About Jim Mason

Jim is an experienced leader who enjoys building teams and helping businesses deliver new data solutions, services, products, and applications using new technologies. His prior experience includes serving as an IT Director, Enterprise & Data architect, Product Manager, IT Project Manager, and Consultant for organizations like Fidelity, Citizens Bank, and IBM.

Jim served as the blockchain consultant for the Self Sovereign Identity solution using Hyperledger Indy and Aries for the state of Rhode Island. He leads the Hyperledger Public Sector SIG and is a Member of the Expert Panel at EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum researching blockchain solutions and technologies.
